Everything a good slideshow needs

No timeline scrubbing, no manual sorting. TripShow does the tedious part.

📥

Import anywhere

Pull in disk folders and Apple Photos albums — mix them in one project. Sorted by capture time automatically.

📍

Knows the places

Reverse-geocodes each photo to city & country, and infers a location for shots with no GPS from their neighbours.

Finds the best shots

Groups near-duplicate bursts and pre-selects the sharpest frame — you just confirm or override.

💬

AI captions, your provider

One-line descriptions from on-device Apple Intelligence, a local Ollama vision model, or a cloud model via your OpenRouter key — pick the provider per project, steer the tone with a custom prompt. Your own edits are never overwritten.

🎬

Cinematic playback

Crossfades, gentle Ken Burns motion, location title cards, and looping background music that fades in and out.

🎞️

Export to video

Render the exact slideshow to 1080p or 4K, H.264 or HEVC — overlays, motion and music burned in.

Four steps to a finished film

From a messy folder to a shareable video in minutes.

Import

Choose a folder or a Photos album.

Analyze

Locations, duplicates and best shots — automatically.

Review

Reorder, select, caption. You stay in control.

Play & export

Watch it, then save it as a video.

🔒

Local by default

Analysis, playback and rendering run entirely on your Mac — your photos never leave it. Captions default to on-device Apple Intelligence or your own local Ollama. Choosing the cloud OpenRouter provider is the only path that uploads a photo — and TripShow asks you to confirm first, then flags it with a red privacy banner while it’s active.
